Good Shepherd Free Medical Clinic

One of the most far-reaching of our outreach programs is the founding of the Good Shepherd Free Medical Clinic of Laurens County. The Clinic is the brainchild of Mr. Jim Roberts, a member of our congregation, and was originally an official outreach of our vestry. The Clinic quickly became an ecumenical venture, and many other churches in the county are now supporting the Clinic. The Clinic now sees dozens of needy, uninsured patients each week. Many of our members regularly volunteer their services to the Clinic. Ms. Cindy Perry, our church organist, serves as the Executive Director of the Clinic. The Clinic building was completed and dedicated in 2002.
